Set in the destination village of Scorton, our beautiful oak framed restaurant is flooded with natural light and seats over 200 guests inside, with a further 200 outside for when the great British weather allows. We are lucky to be situated near Nicky Nook in the forest of Bowland, an area of outstanding beauty which is perfect for walks with picturesque views.
Our recently redesigned menu offers a wide variety of dishes to whet your appetite and tickle your taste buds, from our hearty sandwiches through to our more filling grill menu. Not to forget our unbeatable home-made chips and salt and chilly fires.
Our skilled chefs prepare a variety of delicious specials every day, including our much loved soup and pie of the day. You can always be certain there is something for you to enjoy! We offer a wide range of drinks available from milkshakes, smoothies and soft drinks to luxury hot chocolates or Atkinsons’s tea and coffee. Why not upgrade your hot drinks with flavoured syrups to match the season? Choose from salted caramel, vanilla, hazelnut, pumpkin spice or Gingerbread to make your perfect hot drink.
Our licensed bar boasts a fine selection of beers, wines, and spirits, along with a selection of champagne and prosecco. If this doesn’t tickle your fancy, why not try something from our gin bar. With over 100 selections of gin, and the best fever tree tonics, you can be sure to find a delicious combination.
Satisfy your sweet tooth with our extensive selection of cakes, homemade traybakes, scones and ice cream sundaes. If you can’t fit in dessert don’t worry all our cakes are available for takeaway, in our recyclable cardboard boxes, for you to enjoy as a treat from the comfort of your own home.
We have recently repurposed our cosy outdoor pavilion space with cushions, blankets and a log burner making for the perfect dog friendly space to relax or unwind after a walk with your furry friends on cooler days.
The outdoor seating area around our water feature and overlooking the fields beyond is the perfect destination for alfresco dining especially when the sun is beaming. Dogs are always welcome outside or in our pavilion and water bowls are always available. Make sure to follow our social media to keep updated with everything happening at the Barn.
Booking Information
At The Barn at Scorton we do not require for you to make a reservation. Simply arrive at the restaurant and our friendly staff will get you seated as quickly as possible. In our busiest periods over the weekend, you may be asked to look around our gift shop for around 10 minutes whilst we prepare a table for you, however we ensure not to turn you away.
For parties over 10 you can reserve a table for breakfast or lunch. You will have the table for an allocation of 2 hours and a £50 deposit will be required when booking which will be redeemed off your final bill. Please call us on 01524 793533 if your party is over 10 guests and we can book you in.
